Still Lively Art Club: Drawing Snowflakes

Try using dark paper or card:

1. Draw a faint circle using white pencil crayon, gel pen or similar:

2. Imagine the numbers on a clock face:

3. Draw lines from the centre to 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 & 12 o’clock:

4. Draw a simple shape at 12 o’clock:

5. Add the same shape at 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 o’clock:

6. Add more shapes in the same way:

snowflake3+

 

7. Add more:

snowflake4

 

8. And more:

snowflake5

Jim was fantastic. The groups enjoyed it so much.

I didn’t think I would like this. I’ve not used a sharp knife for a
very long time. I did like it, in fact I loved it – I love everything now.
It’s waking me up and it’s opening my mind – I think that’s what I’m
trying to say.

If you could bottle this you’d make a fortune.
